WHY

ATLAS LIFT?

The ATLAS LIFT was developed because cargo vans lack a compact, lightweight, economical electrical lift capable of quickly moving cargo or equipment on and off safely.

The Atlas Lift team believes our approach to lifting will become an industry standard.

Prior to the ATLAS LIFT, the following were the only options for lifting or lowering loads:

  • Manual lifting

  • Use a ramp and manually control by pushing or pulling the load

  • Install an expensive, heavy tailgate

  • Install limited use cranes with hooks

All of these methods have problems for operators attempting to safely move product and/or equipment.

The vehicle delivery industry has the second-largest Workman’s Compensation claims due to injuries from handling cargo. We aim to reduce those statistics. Those who are self-employed suffer in silence, and often with a loss of income. Employers are forced to manage loss of work days, high employee turnover, unnecessary retraining and early retirement. Product damage is often another issue. The result: increased operating costs and wasted time.

The ATLAS LIFT works well on vans with shelving and for most side door installations. Our smooth bearing rotation moves loads with only finger pressure. The 16x20-inch platform handles most loads, and can even accommodate loaded hand carts. Designed to be portable with an ultra-small storage footprint of only 8x20 inches.

Safety features include a strap bar for cumbersome loads and a locking safety brake and a load distribution base mount plate.

Base plate mounting usually takes no more than 1 ½ hours. Low amperage power allows an electrical connection to wiring near the lift. Our custom-designed, robust linear actuator generates power. A compact wireless hand control is another feature for lift operation.

Atlas Lift products are manufactured in the USA. Ships via UPS or FedEx.
